Abstract
Reasoning
The
APTS Abstract Reasoning test was designed to measure a candidate's ingenuity
in discovering solutions for non-verbal problems. This can be useful for
situations where English is not a candidate's first language. All the items
involve abstract figures. Candidates are required to identify the rules or
principles governing a series in order to accurately predict the next item,
or to identify missing parts of a figure. This test reveals a candidate's
ability to learn quickly, demonstrate problem solving skills and think of
novel/creative ideas
