Your privacy is important

TestGrid develops and conducts psychometric assessment products and services, including online psychometric testing. Testing necessarily involves the collection of personal information from the subject.

This statement outlines TestGrid's policy on how we use and manage personal information provided to or collected by us.

We may from time to time review and update this policy to take account of new laws and technologies, changes to our operations and practices and to ensure the statement remains appropriate to the changing business environment.

What kind of information is collected and how do we collect it?

We collect personal information that is provided to us by users of our website and of our psychometric testing services.

Certain parts of our website request user details including but not limited to the following:

• Email Address

In the case of psychometric assessments and job applications, the website also captures:

• Assessment results
• Job resumes including salary, employer/s, and educational record.

We also capture personal information, including but not necessarily limited to your email address and contact details, from emails you send to us.

How will we use the personal information we collect?

We use information collected for the primary purpose of enabling us to disclose assessment results and job application information to employers and prospective employers. The identity of those persons is dependant on the service we have been requested to provide by our clients. Candidates are aware of the disclosure of their information before they undergo an assessment.

We may use any information you give us in an aggregated, anonymous manner for the purposes of research, but only on the basis that the information is de-identified.

We may use your details to send you newsletters or other information, and you may request such information from us. If you no longer wish to receive such newsletters or information, you have the right to advise us to cease and we will.

Your email address will only be used for the purpose for which you have provided it and will not be added to any mailing lists without your prior consent.

We will not give your information to other parties without your consent.

Details of applicants for employment by us will be kept by us for a period of six months. After six months has lapsed they will be disposed of securely.

When you visit our web site we make a record of your visit and log the pages accessed by external users. No other information is obtained without your knowledge while you are browsing the web site. The record that we collect from a site visit does not identify individuals, but merely tracks site visit patterns.

No attempt will be made to identify users or their browsing activities except, in the unlikely event of an investigation, where a law enforcement agency may exercise a warrant to inspect Internet logs.

Access to your personal information

We do not store personal information for longer than is necessary for the purpose for which the information was collected. Information automatically collected and stored by our computer systems as a result of communication from you will be deleted from our system, if and when those computer systems may be purged.

You may access the personal information we collect about you, until such time as that information is deleted permanently from our system.
